Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both new features and existing functionalities.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing across web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to define testing requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution with the engineering team.
  • Build and maintain reusable test automation frameworks to improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • Advocate for quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience as a QA Tester, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining automation test frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium).
  • Strong programming skills in at least one language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile practices.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database validation.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with strong attention to detail.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process.
  • Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Relevant certifications (ISTQB).
  • Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin).
